MASH SF
If you know me or get me going on bikes you'll probably be able to tell that I'm a MASH fan boy. The MASH SF DVD was my first introduction on Track Bikes and it pretty much changed my life. And being from the bay area I've also had a source of pride that San Francisco was the city producing these riders.
The MASH team inspire me to push myself and to ride as hard as I can everyday.
They have introduced some many people to bikes and have inspired thousands of people all over the world and I just want to say thank you MASH and all that they have done for the cycling community.
Mash has also released a new limited edition Cinelli Bike and it is soooo pretty.

My ride down Chestnut
Give the people something to watch
Sometimes I need to post things that are funny on this blog and I thought this was. Tons of random people in this video and definitely worth the watch

"I wish I was Brian Fallon and Brian Fallon wishes he was Joe Strummer"
The Sharks are circling
And they are ready for the feeding
My mind is empty
And I'm ready for the convincing
These memories are old and tired
And ready for the replacing
The photos are grey and lonely
And are ready for the taking
Oh my god I want to feel
Like how that record makes me feel
I want to sing the words you write
And I never want to sleep in my own skin again
Can you make that happen?
Can you make that happen?
The opportunity is right in front on me
But I'm ready for the missing
My feet are prepared for this journey
But my excuses are ready for the saying
Oh god I want to feel
Like how that photograph makes me feel
I want to take the pictures you take
And I never want to see my face again
Can you make that happen?
Can you make that happen?
And they are ready for the feeding
My mind is empty
And I'm ready for the convincing
These memories are old and tired
And ready for the replacing
The photos are grey and lonely
And are ready for the taking

Like how that record makes me feel

POOLS!
I don't post to many skateboarding videos but thought this was a good one.
Good insight from these dudes about the economy and the fall of the American dream.

Rethink your needs
Just a simple slogan I'm trying to live by....
So much of our everyday lives are consumed with being a "consumer" we watch TV and see commercials, we surf the interwebs and we see commercials, we walk our neighborhoods and drive our cars and what do we see....COMMERCIALS.
We are groomed to be purchasers and are skillfully trained "hunters" in battle for goods and services. We know the brand names, we know the brand stores, we know fashionable streets and last but most importantly we know how to use our weapon of choice....The credit card.
And with such easy access to the newest clothes, the hottest styles, the weekly specials we have relinquished the idea of "needs" for the much simpler and easier concept of "wants." In America obtaining items of need no longer satisfies are hunger to so we rely on consuming our wants to fill that ever growing and never quite full hole. And those of us who become the best hunters are held on a pedestal for the purchases they make IE the girl with the best shoes, the guy with new jeans, the kid with the newest video game.
Growing up in a capitalistic society we are taught how to consume and dispose and then consume some more. It is a never ending cycle that keeps us conformed and our brains void of thought. We have become slaves to corporations just like are politicians and until we take a stand this cycle will never end.
If you must purchase buy local, buy green, buy from DYI companies, and most importantly buy your needs
RETHINK YOUR NEEDS
