Do you remember THIS Against ME!?

I do! Being at home on vacation leaves me a lot of time to go through my old record/DVD collection and I was able to dust of my Against Me! DVD "We're Never Going Home"

And goddammit Against Me! was a fucking amazing band. You just felt lucky to watch those 4 dudes rip up a stage for a hour leaving you breathless and unable to speak.

But not only were their live shows top notch but Tom Gabel was a true lyricist and the passion he put into each of those early records were beyond anything I've ever heard before and since.

I truly do feel old writing this but being at home makes me nostalgic and this song still kills.

What I'm watching

Joy Division is one my all time favorite bands. But yet someone how I totally missed on this biopic when it came out back in 2007.

If you like Joy Division netflix this movie.

If you don't, listen to their debut record Unknown Pleasure again.

If you don't know who they are, then you are a lost cause and there is no hope for you or your aesthetic

One Man Army & Dead to Me

I just listened to my collection of One Man Army records for the first time in probably 5 years. One of my favorite bands in high school and in my early college years. Jack Dalrymple was one of those voices that just stabbed me in the heart.



Then I listened to Dead to Me's Little Brother EP.

I hate LA and "the most dangerous streets in American" is lame but bikes are bikes so I don't want to hate too much. And my boy KEO is rocking it as usual. Love
